The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for merchandising stocking distributor branches on a consistent and scheduled basis. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up displays, plan-o-grams and advertising such as banners and counter displays as approved by branch manager. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Execute manufacturer and agency account strategies including, quarterly and yearly promotions, new product placement, and new product group additions.

• Train and educate branch sales staff. 

• Schedule and coordinate various distributor customer events such as open house, counter day, annual events, tool days. 

• Enter and maintain sales opportunities in agency CRM from initiation to close. 

• Create, develop, and maintain positive relationships with distributor branch employees and management. 

• Communicate and engage with account manager on branch updates and opportunities 

• Monitor sales and identify slow-moving products, working with branch team to improve sales.
